Lillian is the face of New York City as a model for
sculptures and, due to a series of unfortunate
circumstances, ends up working at the Frick mansion
as a personal secretary. Years later, Veronica is a
young model who gets locked in the Frick mansion
during a snow storm and discovers the secrets of the
family and workers who resided there.

Honestly loved this more than I thought I would.
Loved the dual timelines and romance involved.

I’m a big lover of historical fiction, but this one took me a while to get into. I did love the ending and I did really appreciate the parallel storylines. Gave us one more of a 3.5 than a 4, but a 3.5 felt too harsh.

I haven't read a book that fast in a long time. It drew me in and I couldn't put it down.
