was riveted by great storytelling. Other times, I got

The start is so beautiful and I really really loooovvveed the start of this book (like first 400/500 pages), I loved this book the whole way through don’t get me wrong but the start was just so mystical. The character of the Count of Monte Cristo is definitely the COOLEST character I’ve ever read.

It’s a classic for a reason. My all time favorite book thus far. A quintessential tale of romance and revenge that spans hundreds of pages and has stood the test of time as a beacon in literary excellence. Everyone should read it at least once.
