I originally read this book years ago but it didn't make too much sense to me. But now that I've read it again, I'm glad that I did. It's very homey and cute. I recommend!

Too difficult for me to read aloud to my kids. Story wasn’t that interesting.

This dragged a bit and wasn't as magical as I remembered. Though I can well imagine being far more excited about the lengthy descriptions of tiny things as a child. Perhaps it is The Littles that I remember so fondly.

Aivan yhtä ihana kuin Ghibli—elokuva!

Initially, I started this book because I watched the Secret World of Arrietty for the first time. I absolutely adored the movie and I hoped the book would be just as good - and I was right!
This book captures the whimsy and essence of childhood in a way that is indescribable. I love the descriptive language and the individual personalities of each character.
While I may not read the other books in the series, I loved this one so much!
