This book was so good! I really liked the main characters. It was a shorter book but I still felt connected to them and I even liked the side characters. Sarina never disappoints!

You people move fast. My favourite part was when she was just doing her thing, playing water polo.
I loved this book its a strangers to friends to lovers. It had everything I wanted, the characters we such green flags and honestly had a solid friendship. I loved the humor and jokes it just hit all the right spots. I loved that it showed real college students, cause they have obvious morals and values which they sometimes leave in the dust but still come back to being accountable. It was a wholesome read made me cry and laugh all together.

This was a cute, New Adult romance between Hartley and Corey. I really enjoyed Corey's character as a whole and most parts of Hartley's character. However, Hartley deserved to be slapped pretty hard a few times! In the end though, they got their happy ending and all was well.
What I really enjoyed in this book was meeting all the side characters! There is some really good potential developing for more books in this series!

This is such a sweet story. It’s a different type of sports romance where the sport of hockey is integral to the plot, and yet not a single game is played.
Corey has some insecurities as a result of being bound to a wheelchair, but she doesn’t let her disability stop her from living a full life. Her dry sense of humor and spunkiness make her quite endearing. I wish I could say the same about Hartley. He’s a dreamy book boyfriend, and I admire a man who’s faithful; however, he’s loyal to a fault. He’s so attached to his truly awful, superficial girlfriend that he friend zones Corey despite the fact that she’s clearly perfect for him. I grew so frustrated waiting for him to see the light that I began to feel he didn’t deserve Corey.
Strong heroines eventually realize their self-worth though, and there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a hero attempt to redeem himself. Corey and Hartley’s amusing antics as a pair of “gimps,” and the addition of their fabulous best friends make the story very entertaining.
The Year We Fell Down is an exceedingly well-written book featuring characters of real depth. It’s an engaging story that I quite enjoyed.

The Year We Fell Down was such a good book. I love me some sports book - especially if it's hockey. I don't know what it is.. but you can never go wrong with a hockey book.
So this book is about Corey and Adam. Corey was in a terrible accident and is now paraplegic. So going to college might've caused her some new problems but luckily for her, she received an accessible room. She also has like the best roommate ever known to man. I loved Dana so much. When I went away to college, I had one roommate who was barely there and then went to go live back at home. Then I had one who only stayed for like a month or two because of her first terrible roommate. Then my last roommate, well I had zero problems with her. I just left that school after our 6 months together. Has nothing to do with her or my past roommates - just the school. Which is odd but okay.
Well, Corey's luck keeps getting better. Her roommate across the hall is Adam. He's the captain of the hockey team and he also broke his leg. Not so lucky for him.. but super lucky for Cory and I. Unfortunately, he isn't single (at first) because his heart is within the clutches of his evil bitch girlfriend. HOWEVER, the bitch is studying abroad and my luck just keeps getting better and better!
Now I absolutely loved Corey and Adam together! LOVED THEM! They were so god damn cute and have a really adorable friendship bonding over things like video games and such. Friendship lines are crossed - which I honestly couldn't have been happier about but I feel like Adam could've handled a lot better than he did. It was just kind of meh for me and I definitely wanted something different or better.
Of course, the hero always winds up fixing his mistake towards the end of the book. Even though it was predictable I still rather enjoyed it. Corey was probably my favorite, aside from Dana, because she was a strong and independent woman. No matter what she went through she didn't let that hold her back from things.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to dive into the second one of this series.
