Loved it! Can be read here and there in short bursts. Only a couple of stories didn't make me laugh out loud or tear up or both. And he talks about Crete!
Pretty okay, although I don't think I ever finished it.
I had to read a book that was a series of essays for a book challenge I am doing....I chose this one by Robert Fulghum and it was interesting enough...not profound to me in any way ...but, just a light read...didn't need to dwell on anything...just a couple of short readings per night....I have read other essayist's before...Emma Bombeck will always be my favorite of them all.

when you start to think about meaning of life..take this book and just read one,two short stories...it´s like kind touch of why we are here and that we are all lost here..together
Všechny texty, co jsem zatím od Fulghuma četla, byly hrozně laskavé. Najdou se v nich myšlenky hodné zapamatování, když chcete, ale nejsou předkládané čtenáři jako ultimátní pravdy ani jako něco, co si musí za každou cenu odnést. Tak nějak mi přijde, že tahle kniha se nesnaží přesvědčovat, ale jenom ukazovat. A v tom je velký rozdíl a je to důvod, proč jsem měla při čtení pocit, jako bych dostávala požehnání k čemukoliv, co se svým životem hodlám udělat, a vůbec nevadí, že nejsem věřící.
To si musíte přečíst. Pan Fulghum píše úplně úžasně, a bez něj bych nepřišla na to, jak se správně leze na stromy, jak se správně brečí a že synové můžou být matky a nevěsty ne vždy respektují přání svých matek.
U téhle knihy, jakožto pokračování Školky, jsem se moc nasmála. Tenhle děda, jako by mi úplně rozuměl. Taky nesnáší psi, o čemž píše v prvním díle (teď si nejsem jistá), miluje pastelky a dělá noční nájezdy na lednici, což já tedy nepreferuji, ale což :) Navíc jsem potěšila mamku, že čtu také nějaké klasické, normální knihy o životě. Vždycky jsem nechtěla, protože Babička byla dokonalý odstrašující příklad, ale teď...měním názor.
Doporučuju na přečtení, jak první díl tak i tenhle!
