The Princess Bride is one of my all time favorite movies and Cary Elwes is one of my favorite actors. This book was great! It had wonderful stories about filming and it made me love the film even more to know how much they all enjoyed making it. I love this book because it isn’t gossipy and it highlights the wonderful people that put this movie together. It was also a quick and easy read that was also upbeat. So glad I finally read it!
You can't help but read this book with a giant smile on your face the entire time.
THE MOST FUN! If you love (as I do) or even just sort of peripherally know this movie, read it.

If you've never seen the classic "The Princess Bride" then you won't appreciate this book. Also, if you're looking for salacious tales from the set, you'll be disappointed. This is not a "tell all" tale, but a love letter to a beautiful movie (and book).

I went in expecting to like this book but it was far more enjoyable than I imagined. I watched the movie just before reading it, so I had it fresh in my mind. I liked the tone of the book and the addition of voices from other actors involved. There were funny moments in the book and really sweet looks back at making a movie that nobody knew would be as successful and loved as it is.
WONDERFUL. An absolute treasure for The Princess Bride fans. I loved hearing comments and stories from the cast and the process of filming.
