Very charming and fun memoir and a great audiobook cast, but somewhat lacking in depth because of Elwes’ hesitancy to say anything even remotely negative about anyone mentioned.

In order to prepare for this, my book club selection, I watched The Princess Bride once again. I was surprised at how little I recalled from the last time I saw this movie. I found it sweet, heartfelt, highly tongue in cheek and most enjoyable. As for this book, I enjoyed it immensely! Like the movie, it is sweet and heartfelt. Cary sets just the right tone from the first page to the last. It is full of fun facts and fond remembrances. And now, after finishing it, I must watch the movie once again..... ;-)

One of my guilty pleasures is reading the trivia on a movie's IMDB page and this was a way more charming version of that. I now have to immediately reread the book and rewatch the movie.
