If you loved the movie, you must read this book. It's so nostalgic that I wish I had a copy of the movie to watch immediately. Cary Elwes is a wonderfully charming narrator. I had a smile on my face reading almost the entire book.

How I loved this movie. I so love that the actors and filmmakers also loved making it.
I absolutely loved it. The Princess Bride has always, and will forever be, my favorite movie of all time. Reading this fantastic and sweet account of some of the things that happened on set and behind the scenes allowed me to experience and relive that joy and excitement that I felt when I saw the movie as a kid and first connected with it. I know he had some help, but Cary Elwes (my first celebrity crush---I will love him until the day I die) has a great writing style, and the book is made even more special by the inclusion of interviews from cast members and other people involved in the film, as well as many production and behind-the-scenes photos that I've never seen before.
I bought this as an ebook, but I have no doubt I will also be purchasing a hard copy as well at some point. I'm also considering buying the audio book, because I'd love to hear all these stories straight from Cary himself, with Westley's voice in my ears.
In short, it's fantastic, and an absolute must-read for anyone who's a fan of the film.

If you have any affection, delight, interest in, or even just a childhood memory of the now-classic Princess Bride, you will LOVE this book. Truly. It’s everything a memoir about a favorite movie should be – fun, funny, witty, interesting, grateful, intelligent, goofy – and absolutely full of behind-the-scenes stories. Like the movie it describes, it’s another Classic. Cary Elwes (the famed Westley) not only brings humor and a wry wit to the table, but he does so in the kindest and most gracious way possible. He has nothing but generosity towards his directors, producers, and fellow cast-members (something I thought was so becoming of him). I flew through this book. And the only thing I didn’t like about it was that I didn’t own it – and so couldn’t write in it. But I’m buying a copy now. You’ll want to do the same.
