This may have been one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read. 10/10 recommend.
First of all, we need WAAAAY more books like this. I would devour these if there were more. Also, having bits from other people who were involved in the film was genius, especially since (most of them) voiced their own segments.
I knew Cary Elwes was a great actor. I've been watching him all my life. But man having him read was so entertaining. I never realized how good he is at voices and stuff, but he imitates people all the time in this, and it's highly enjoyable.
I will never watch this movie the same way again, for the better. It's like all the people who watch LOTR and have to mention how Viggo broke his foot in that scene. That's gonna be me every time I watch this now, and I couldn't be more thrilled.

I highly recommend the audiobook version. Interviews with many of the movies' main players. Great in combination with the movie or the original book by William Goldman. Have fun storming the castle!
I’d probably give it a 3 1/2 if I could because I adored Cary’s gentle and loving words and really enjoyed getting some behind the scenes stories that I never knew but I don’t love the writing of the book and sometimes it felt like it went in circles a bit. I also think the pace was a little wonky and the extra bits from others made it difficult to read. Overall really enjoyed the stories and forever a fan of Mr. Elwes

Elwes' loving account of his time spent making The Princess Bride is so wonderful. Lots of behind the scenes information, plus little quotes from his co-stars, and an amazing account of the training that he and Mandy Patinkin went through for the sword fighting scene. If you liked the movie, you'll definitely like this book.

Was this perfect? No. Was it amazing anyways? Yes. The entire cast came together to help Cary Elwes recount the filming of this memorable movie. Filled with nostalgia and fun moments, I enjoyed every minute of it. The only bits that weren't necessary was the listing each actors resumes.
