Simply incredible storytelling. It's epic fantasy, but now it's a heist, but now it's a YA novel with balls and nobleman falling in love with the common girl, but now it's epic fantasy again.

I wish I could read this again for the first time.

It took me a while to get into this book, but once I was in I was hooked. The magic system is really cool, and I feel like it is going to be built on in the next books. I liked how lots of questions were answered, but so many questions still remain.
