My read of the Miss Marple series has ended on a high note and I am sad that it is over. In Sleeping Murder we are following newlyweds Gwenda and Giles as they start their life in their new home. Soon after moving in Gwenda begins to have a sense that she has been here before and begins to scare her. To get away she takes up the offer of her husband’s friends Raymonds to come visit in London. While she is there she meets his aunt Miss Marple. While they are watching a play Together she again has decision. Miss Marple after she hears worries has a reasonable explanation for all of the things that are happening. Naturally it involves solving a murder. I absolutely loved this book and it is definitely one of my favorites in this series. I had a suspicion as to who the murderer was and I was right but that did not take away from my enjoyment of the book at all. I highly recommend this book and the series. I now only need to read some of the short stories and I will be completely finished.
One of the most boring Miss Marple mysteries ever; I think my sister and mother both failed to even finish this one.

That was a good one. I'm not sure what makes it the last Miss Marple though...

I actually figured this one out! Mostly anyways, super good interesting story. I love an Agatha Christie cold case!
A murder left sleeping for nineteen years and a witness who'd long ago forgotten what happened until a series of coincidences makes her think she's going mad. There's no way she could have seen a murder happen in her new home. She's never been here before. Never even set foot in this country before now.... right?
Read on to find out what happens in this excellent final novel by Ms. Christie. I promise that you'll be on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

This is going on my recommendation list for Agatha Christie - the details of place and setting were so enjoyable. I loved the young characters and setup of this story.
As always, some fabulous twists and turns, but a satisfying, tidy ending with the endearing Ms. Marple.
