I am so sad that the Stark Trilogy has come to an end, but I have to say I am glad it ended the way it did for Damien and Nikki. Although, it started roughly at first in Complete Me because J. Kenner started the book from where Claim Me ended. It took a while for the drama to build in Complete Me really, and that was the only problem I had while reading this book...but J. Kenner knows how to keep me intrigued and entertained when drama does unfold.

I recommend this series to readers who love the contemporary romance genre and adore books that bring out emotions in you while you are reading it.

I give this book 4 full moons and look forward to reading J. Kenner's next books that come out in the near future. She's one author, who has always been an auto-buy for me.

Well, where to start? I found this series on Goodreads before the first book was even published, I patiently waited for it to come out(I forgot about it..) and then I devoured the whole trilogy at once. I have to say, I definitely enjoyed it more than I did 50 shades, and maybe even more than the Crossfire series? I finished this series and thought, damn this needs to be a movie. I loved it. The characters were well developed, there was more going on that just sex, and there was no love triangle. At least not one were she was torn between two men. It was, dare I say it, realistic? I mean obviously not the billionaire part but the effects of their childhood drama in their adult lives fit. It is something you would expect out of that sort of thing. It may be extreme measures, but it wasn't completely fictional. I'm sad to see these wonderful characters I have grown so attached to leave. A Jamie or Ollie spin-off perhaps?? *nudge nudge* If this was a movie, it would be a lot better than anything based on 50 Shades, I mean take out the sex and that book doesn't have much, not to say i didn't enjoy it but i just was not good literature. Read this damn book people, I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!

In Complete Me we have the continuation of this marvelous couple that ties you up in knots in emotion and romance and desire. I do think that this book is probably the one that had me at the edge of my seat the most. There is so much more development to the plot that unravels in the story that just pulls you even more into their story. Our hero, has been accused of murder and has to go to Germany for trial and to clear his name. And Nikki goes to Germany, to support the man she loves even though she knows he doesn’t want her to see what will happen. Seeing these two struggle with the uncertainty of the future, knowing that all the money in the world couldn’t save them from what could happen. This book just about tore me up in two, seeing how much these two love each other and not knowing if they have a future together. There are other forces at work, trying to bring down Damien.
I don’t want you to have to handle it. That’s the horror of my past. But you…you’re the reality of my present. You’re the proof I survived. The prize in the cereal box

It is unknown who the real villain is in the story, and quite frankly I was shocked to find out the real person behind everything. It completley blew me away in this book. We see both Damien and Nikki fight for their lives and the love they have for each other. Nikki is so devoted to Damien, she will stand by him through ANYTHING!! But they are both really tested in this book, in some cruel ways even that neither of them plan on. Even though this couple faces some real tough challenges, I also felt that we see their relationship go to a higher level than we have seen previously.

"At the end of the day, it’s just you and me. We make our own reality, Nikki. And no one can take it from us."

They start to realize how much they truly love each other, and no matter what, their love does make them stronger. Its definitely not an easy lesson for either of them. But seeing them go through fire and brimstone and come out strong and vibrant is simply epic!! Complete me had me tied up in knots, on edge, in suspense but left me feeling satisfied and complete with a bit of a book hangover. A FLAWLESS ROMANCE TO BRING YOU ALL THE FEELS!

Now although I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen, and there were moments that were very good I just felt like the book was 90% sex and I just got tired of it after a point. Yes I have read books that are majority sex but for some reason it just didn't do it for me in this one.

I am glad that I read it though, because I did want to see where things were going to go.

Kenner|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1449167361p2/6459302.jpg] is an Adult Erotic Romance.
I have a few problems with this one. One is everything is written as Nikki's point of view, when most of the story is actually about Damien. It would be better if it had been written as his point of view. The next problem is Nikki herself. Her answer to everything is sex. A lot of the time she is way to focused on herself and obsessively avoiding reality. She comes off as severely mentally unbalanced. Page after page of Nikki using sex with Damien to avoid her fears slows down the story and takes away from the eroticism.
There is a good story here. A lot of suspense any mystery. Even though you are given clues throughout, the end of who is behind the different events comes as a bit of a surprise. If some sex scenes had been blue penciled out and used for the suspense, this would have been a much better read.
I didn't catch any editing errors and the writing is basically flawless. There are some truly beautiful sections in the story. I wish the author had written Nikki's character taking Damien's advice in the book;
“At the end of the day, it’s just you and me. We make our own reality, Nikki. And no one can take it from us.”
I really liked it, but I loved the first two books in the series.

The only excuse for why I stayed with this series as long as I did, is quarantine.

Oh, Wow! Yes I can see why people compare it to Fifty Shades, but it is also so different! Damien knows what he wants, NIKKI! They both are so good for each other, they actually NEED each other to help fight those demons. When I got approval to read this I had to go and read the first two. I love a great trilogy like this! So want to read more from this author!

The story resumes three weeks later from where the last book ended with Nikki and Damien in Munich, Germany on the day his trial for the murder of Merle Richter is scheduled to begin. He's refusing to reveal his abuse at the hands of Richter and his attorneys are worried he'll be convicted without that testimony. Nikki, while by his side, is still on the outside looking in as Damien continues his withholding, secretive pattern.

I was encouraged from the start that this book would continue to focus more on story now that Nikki and Damien were on surer footing about each other's feelings. However, it rather quickly segued into more of their sexual explorations, overly so. I was hoping to see them mature in their relationship but it just felt like more of the same...Nikki opining about her obsessive love and need for Damien, him continuing to withhold secrets from her, she continuing to be upset for a moment until the scene lapsed into another sexual romp.

There's a missed opportunity to have both shift from the immature patterns Nikki and Damien both followed earlier when they were insecure about each others feelings. Instead, this was just more of the same without the intensity of the past. It just was long on sex and short on story.

I was looking for and expecting more from this final story of the trilogy and was disappointed. There just wasn't enough to keep me invested in the story and I struggled to finish. The ending was creative but it wasn't enough to save the story for me.

(I received an ARC from NetGalley)
