Wow, I can't tell you how much I loved being back in the Acquisition world. Great read in the usual enthralling writing style by Celia Aaron.

I wasn't very impressed.
Everything seemed very rote and Lucius and Evie didn't seem to have that much chemistry, despite how much we kept being told that they were hot for each other.
I'm usually pretty good at suspending my disbelief, but I just couldn't for the whole secret society and trials thing. It fell pretty flat.

Loved this book, the acquisition series was one of my top reads last year and to read more about that world and family is always such a good one.
Lucius is much lighter compared to the acquisition series but nonetheless packed with hotness, and drama.

Lucius, by Celia Aaron, is a dark enemy to lover’s romance, and it starts with a BANG.
I read this book twice in an 8-hour time frame because I couldn't get enough.
