I absolutely LOVED this series! There were a couple of parts in this book that got a little weird, but the storytelling is so beautiful! You just get caught up and need to know what is going to happen next! I highly recommend the entire series!

I really wanted to love this trilogy, and in all senses I should. It’s well written, and got a lot of the things that usually does it for me, such as a strong female character with a very strange, and not prominent love story on the side. It’s quite dark and gritty, unapologetic and realistic and believable in all its strangeness. It’s even got (what I believe is) the accurate use of the strange and confusing name conventions that I learned and got to love through reading some Russian classics. (Strange thing to fall in love with, but I did). It’s also got a little note at the end explaining how it works.
As stated, I really should love this book, but I just don’t, and I do not know why. I don’t hate it either, it just fails to move me, and to make any lasting impression. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to avoid it, because it’s certainly not bad, but where and who I am for the moment it simply doesn’t do it for me.

Nice conclusion to the series. I am sad that it is end, I would not mind another one ( Vasya and Morozko’s journey to the south…). Sometimes I felt it was too long and I couldn’t await the end. And then I took me I couldn’t believe what a beauty I am reading. Ending was great for the whole series.
