I have probably said this before, but Ashley James knows how to write cowboys. And now apparently hot daddy firefighters.
I’ve been waiting for the next installment and boy did it deliver. I love seeing the ultimate playboy realize maybe he’s not such a playboy anymore. There’s some hurt/comfort a tad bit of we shouldn’t, but they do and it’s so fu*king hot. Ford is struggling with a divorce after 23 years. Hollis just wants a good time with the hot fire captain.
The age gap is about 20 years, so know that going in. But they are adults, Hollis being 28. (I know a lot of people don’t like them young and in an age gap that big).
James also knows how to write hot cowboy smut with a side of snarky flirting banter and some top tier dirty talk. It was downright filthy in the best possible way. Don’t read it in a public place. 😱🫠

My review
Hollis is another excellent Cowboy/Small Town MM hit and a great addition to the Moore Men Series. Ashley is the best at writing flirty young guys full of sexy banter rilling up the hot older man. I was constantly smiling and giggling over the things that came out of Hollis's mouth. And of course, the spice is so freaking hot! Sexting! Sneaking around! I loved every minute! Ford is that typical smoldering older man that you immediately want to call daddy. It's one of my favorite dynamics in MM.
I have one little critique though. No one is writing those crazy long sexting threads. Lol Through the app or texting these two were writing novels to each other! The were hot! But a man is not writing all that.
I will say that while I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this one, especially Hollis himself. 🤤, I still liked Finn just a little bit more. 🤭 And I'm so excited for Gentry's story. I can't wait to see him develop more as a character. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
