Okay so I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to rate this one, but I think I’ve finally decided. I loved the way Jacks and Eva’s story ended. I think they got their happy ending, and I’m really ecstatic about it. However, I do feel as though I have more questions than answers now. I feel like the ending was one of those endings that are just really sudden. Like, there wasn’t anything to really go on afterwards. At the end, you just see Jacks and Eva walking out of the clearing. Like that doesn’t really give me any answers. It definitely could’ve been expanded upon. I am curious, however, about how Miss Garber will expand this universe. It definitely has several different ways it could go. I’d love to see more about the Valors! In the end, I’m very glad that Jacks and Evangeline ended up together. I think they’re my favorite couple in the Carval universe. So, overall, I give this book 4.5/5 stars, and I’m actually a bit sad that it’s over.

Okaaay, so hear me out.
I really loved the writing in this book as much as I loved the other two BUT, my main issue is that the ending didn't pack as much as a punch as I would have liked. I do feel like there's a couple of loose ends that I would have liked to see tied up. I feel as if there wasnt enough tension and that the ending was rushed a little, however, I still enjoyed the plot. I WISH WE GOT SOME MORE EVAJACKS FLUFF THOUGH.

I feel bad for being immediately negitive but that's just what my brain was telling me as I finished the book.

As for positives: I thought this was great! I think the second book will forever continue to be my favourite but this one was a nice ending, definitely enough to satisfy me. The writing was fab, the characters are great and I loved the general plot. There was a lot of tension throughout the book other than the ending and I definitely felt like I was holding my breath a few times.

The quotes near the end are also, immaculate and will be tattooed on my brain forevermore.

Obviously I don't want to say too much because of it being the 3rd book in a series, but for me the whole series is 5 stars for sure.

I would 100% recommend if you want to be sucked into a wonderful fairytale.

I loved the first two books so much so this one really turned out to be such a disappointment. The first half the book felt like such a drag and a lot of going over things that we had already gone through in the first two books. The second half picks up and gets interesting but it felt like not enough time was spent fleshing out the other characters and waaaaay too much time on Apollo.

By the end of the book so many questions are left unanswered and trust me, I don't need everything spoon fed to me to enjoy a book but this book took it a bit too far. For example
are we really supposed to believe that its just love that broke Jack's curse? Why didn't we get a hint about the apples? Where does Eva get her magical abilities from?

Overall the series was enjoyable but I knew the moment that
she lost her memories
at the end of the second book that I wasn't going to be enjoying the third. I tried to keep an open mind as I really do love how this is told as more of a fairytale than a story but it just wasn't for me.
