The ka-tet of Roland, Susannah, Eddie, Jake and Oy move closer to the Dark Tower, but first a quick stop in the town of Calla, where they are pulled into a generational nightmare that will only be stopped with the help of the last gunslingers. The story really starts expanding at this point, bringing in New York City in the 1970s, and also characters from other Stephen King books- because perhaps the Tower and Beams truly are bigger and more connected than we know.

A great read and an excellent continuation of the Gunslinger drama.
slow-paced

This si where the series goes downhill with unnecessary plot threads and mounting references to other King novels.

Wonderful fantasy!

I think it could have been much shorter. Like half as short. It did come together in the end though.
