Commander in Chief is a wonderful ending to Charlotte and Matt's story.

I had been patiently waiting for this book & it was totally worth the wait.

Author Katy Evans gives us the fast pace world of politics filled with love story that is well developed and memorable.

Yes Charlotte was a character that I had to adjust to because her strong independent self was frustrating at times. I wanted her to give in to Matt, and when she did, it made me happy to see her happy with him. To be the FIrst Lady at his side and become her own.

And Matt, who doesn't love a strong man in charge? We all want that strong driven man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He proves even more in this book that he loves Charlotte and he has made the right decision having her by his side.

Their growth in the love for each other in this book had me swooning. I love that this book had a great way of showing how their love gradually grew without drawing it out.

A Perfect ending to this strong loving couple!

A good read but IMO more of the same from the first book. I enjoyed the first 2/3's so much but it ran out of steam. I found myself skimming the last 1/3. I think it would have been great as one book. I very much enjoyed the fierce love Matt and Charlotte had for each other. I loved being part of the birth of their first child. I love Jack too.

This didn't deserve to call itself a full length book becuase it didn't have much of a plot, none really. Just read like a long love letter to the most perfect of men, the man of her dreams and mustn't forget, her president. Sometimes the love letter went the other way. Pretty boring and I was skimming bits. Would have worked better as a novella.

2 stars. This duology could've been one book because this felt so unnecessary and plotless. It was boring, surface level fluff and again just lets me know that I don't jive with this author's writing at all. I needed this for a challenge though so here we are. Nothing happened and it felt like one long epilogue.

I loved this series so much! The romance was so well done - the chemistry of these characters so intense. This series is going on my favorites list and I can't wait to go back and re-read them.
