Cute and sassy. Loved the characters. I don’t love a miscommunication trope but the second chance romance bit was done well. It’s also a bit of a grumpy sunshine kind of book, which is always heartwarming to me. The amount of spice was limited but what was there was definitely steamy. Looking forward to the second book in this duology.

This book was not my cup of tea. I had problems with the characters, the characters’ actions, and the ideals presented in this story.

Cute lighthearted romance book. Not my favorite Tessa Bailey book, but still really good.

This is the first time I read a Tessa Bailey novel and I thought it was an enjoyable read.

Secretly Yours is the first of a two-part A Vine Mess series about Hallie navigating her secret crush on Julian when he returns to town for the first time in four years. The romance was solid and at times swoonworthy (though I thought the spice in the book was a bit much). I enjoyed Hallie and Julian as MCs and I liked their character development throughout the book, especially with addressing Julian's anxiety in the book. Plus, you get a sneak peak into the MCs for Bailey's next book in the series, Natalie and August, and I am looking forward to the sequel.

I listened to the audiobook version on Audible and I thought that the audiobook version was good. Callie Dalton does provide a nice narration to the story and her pacing was solid. Though, I think she could improve on creating distinct voices for each of the characters (specifically for the male characters).

Nevertheless, I think Secretly Yours is a cute rom-com worth reading. If you want to read a rom-com set in beautiful vineyards or a romance full of pining and a relationship years in the making, I definitely would recommend this book.

What a cute read! Yeah, it was very insta-lovey but honestly I can deal with that if it means getting Julian and Hallie 🤭 Julian is so OBSESSED w her from minute one and goddd do I love myself a protective nice guy. Hallie's such a fun and loveable character and I really enjoyed reading about her. Had a really good time with this book ❤

Despite the hype, it’s just another immature blonde woman from Tessa Bailey who needs to be saved by the right man (but actually needs a whole lot of therapy). Seriously, he needs a restraining order. From the very premise, I couldn’t root for their relationship, and there’s a whole cringe-worthy side plot to introduce conflict that doesn’t really make any sense.
