I thought this deserved a few more chapters or one more volume since the ending was so fast. But really great story and characters that deconstruct how history is told by empire.

what a delightful treat i love fantasy settings that 1) deal with colonialism and 2) feature non-european backgrounds. the art is SOOOO good and i cant help but just DRINK so much of it in - it’s truly truly such a beautiful book!!!!
