Not for me, not so much the supernatural horror I was hoping for.

This was an easy, accessible read peppered with vivid descriptions and body horror. Ghosts galore in this one. It's a moody window into a loss that reminds you that whether you're an addict or not, you can still become addicted to your own grief.

Part ghost story, part statement on drug addiction.

This is not the horror you’re expecting, if it can be called that at all. This is more an examination of human nature and habits.
I devoured this book, but did I like it? I don’t know.
The writing was compelling, but there was something lacking about the conversational tone. Maybe it was slightly too informal?

the first 3.5 parts were so good then it got chaotic and the ride wasn't even fun. it does have potential and I do think it would make a really good miniseries.
