I am well and truly obsessed with this book and these characters. They are the perfect morally grey characters that have me totally rooting for them while still questioning their choices. This one is even more twisted than the first, with more exciting and dark characters added to the mix. I don't think it is possible to be more invested in a group of characters than I am with these guys. I will be very impatiently awaiting the third book in the series.

There is a delicious amount of tension throughout this story. Both between Rocky and Phoebe and the stakes they are in. This is masterfully interwoven with funny moments to create an addictive story. It has me swooning, laughing, crying, and everything in between. Which is a testament to how much these characters mean to me.

This book does contain spice that is well-intertwined with the plot. If that is not your thing, I do not recommend this book because it is a key part of the characterization. I will also say, this was some of the most respectful and communicative spice I've ever read. I wish this were the norm in books because it was legitimately healthy in that way.

Overall, it sums up to the fact that this book has left me an emotional wreck, and I'm thankful for it. If you are looking for morally grey characters you are gonna care about, I highly recommend this series.

I received this book as an ARC from Valentine PR. My review is honest and voluntary.

i was so excited to get into this book after where the story left off at the end of dishonestly yours. i really love the found family aspect of it all. the group dynamics and mannerisms of these characters were core six coded at the heart of it and i love that! they are not complete without each other and would go to the ends of the earth for one another.

this book took me a bit longer to get into, but it picked up in the second half with the unexpected twists and love triangle. when the truth about their families was revealed, it made me appreciate the foreshadowing. i would love to see the other characters’ pov, especially oliver and hailey. i’m so invested in them and have such a soft spot for them. also that one scene with trevor had my jaw on the floor, he is a wildcard and mystery. rocky and phoebe continue to bring the sizzling chemistry with the drama and angst.

i can’t wait to see how everything wraps up in the last book in this trilogy. here’s to more twists and secrets unfolding.

tropes: small town, found family, best friend’s brother, boy obsessed

Phoebe Graves & Brayden (Rocky) Tinrock (Nova Graves, Oliver Graves, Hailey Tinrock, Trevor Tinrock, Jake Waterford)
This book was so good and unputdownable. I love that this isn’t just a romance, but it’s such an adrenaline rush of deception, mystery, heist, etc. I couldn’t stop reading because I wanted to find out who they were and where they came from. Phoebe & Rocky’s chemistry was combustible. They’ve been in love since they were kids. Their two families are so entwined. I loved all the brothers and sister. I was shocked to find out that Hailey
had been sleeping with Oliver on and off for 10 years!!! And that she’s also sleeping with Phoebe’s fake boyfriend Jake
! I held my breath when they opened the DNA test results. I had guessed about
Hailey’s pregnancy when she was puking in the grocery store parking lot
. I knew that would be angsty since either
Oliver or Jake could be the father
. I was aghast that Trevor
killed Jake’s terrible mom Claudia Waterford
. I can’t wait for the 3rd and final book to this trilogy, where there’s going to be revenge against Varrick! Oh the angst of
Phoebe’s biological father being the murderer of Rocky’s biological parents

* ARC received for an honest review *

Thank you, Krista and Becca Ritchie, Netgalley Berkeley and Valentine's PR for an early copy of this book

Destructively Mine is the second book in the Webs We Weave series. The book started off with where the first book ended with that cliffy ending and damn I was hooked with it from the first page. This book surprised me a lot and I ended up loving it more than I thought.

Phoebe’s point of view made me feel everything she was going through—her anxiety, her fears, and how much she overthinks. It was like I was right there inside her head. She’s so strong in her own quiet way, and I admired how she kept trying, even when things felt impossible.

Rocky was harder to read at first, but that made me love him more as the story went on. He’s been through a lot, and he hides his pain behind silence and distance, but when he lets his guard down, it’s powerful. The way he cared about Phoebe, even when he didn’t have the words, hit me hard.

Their relationship wasn’t smooth or perfect, but it felt real. Messy, emotional, and sometimes painful—but also beautiful. Watching them slowly open up to each other and try to heal together made me tear up more than once. They felt like two people who truly needed each other, and I was rooting for them every step of the way.

Just like in the first book, this had a lot of found family moments. I love how they all were intertwined together and had this amazing bond. I loved how they were all protective of each other. Also I loved the friendships too. Like I didn't think I would love Jake and Rocky's friendship this much. Their dynamics was so good.

OMG HAILEY- JAKE - OLIVER WERE JUST SO 🤌🏾🤌🏾
I LOVED THEIR DYNAMIC SO MUCH. I want to read more of them. And I hope they are a poly and she doesn't have to choose just one.

NOVA GRAVES. I THINK IM IN LOVE. EVEN THOUGH HE STILL SEEMS MYSTERIOUS TO ME. HE CAPTURED MY ATTENTION IN THIS.

I still don't know what to feel about Trevor. He annoyed me in the start with some of his behaviour. But now, I guess he grew on me but still my feelings about him are confusing.

The plot was actually so good. And the twists were just so insane. I never thought I would enjoy it this much. Like I didn't expect some of the things, they were just so crazy. Even though  most of the plot has been revealed, I'm still excited for the rest of them.

I can't wait for Dangerously Yours. I know KBR aren't going to disappoint me.

ok omg this one WAS WAY better than the first book still not fully 5 stars just idk they remind me too much of the addicted universe characters (not in a bad way i still love these characters with all my heart sooo) but yeah it was amazing the whole con they were planning the secrets we found out uhhh it was so entertaining and exciting and amazing i just couldn't put the book down seriously, krista and becca just write family bonds and drama so damn well it's addictive really!! phoebe and rocky were still amazing, rocky the man that he is ugh hailey and oliver?? i love them even more now their little scenes together are so good i just can't help it, I ship them so much but then there's jake i also like him a lot but oliver he's definitely one of my top faves in the series along side rocky phoebe and hailey so i do prefer oliver over jake but this book we see more of him and we do understand that he cares for them and started to really like them deeply so i think that's just so cute then the plot twists??? about the parents and them and the town what the hell? BUT THAT ENDING?? WAIT A MINUTE WHAT WAS THAT? oh my im so excited for more i fear i don't want this world to end either so idk if there will be more books but i still want hailey to have one and specially with oliver and we can add jake i mean i do see potential between him and oliver so who knows eheh
but really overall it was so addictive and so good i do love these characters so so much they totally grow on me and i just want to protect them i need book three like now thank youuuu
