there were certainly pieces i liked, but then they were flipped on their head by the titles that are placed at the bottom of every last stanza. "it's giving patrick bateman" was probably the worst offender. may also have to give a shout out to "i would die for y — oh, j/k lol"

I borrowed this audiobook not seeing that it was a small collection of poems and was so thrilled when I found out it was. The opening message from Fox really hit home and set up the rest of the book. Though a couple were a little juvenile (hello middle school) the remainder were raw and heartbreaking. If you've ever been in a toxic or abusive relationship Fox' poems will make you feel less alone.
J'avoue, j'étais super curieuse quand j'ai vu que Megan Fox avait écrit un recueil de poèmes. Je ne m'attendais pas à grand-chose, donc je ne peux pas vraiment dire que j'ai été déçue, mais ses poèmes ne m'ont pas touchée plus que ça. Je crois que sa plume n'est juste pas faite pour moi, and that's okay.
