Really interesting book and unlike anything I’ve read before. Thought the writing style was a little hard to follow at times but I really enjoyed this book. Wasn’t as gruesome as people made it out to be but that’s just me.

I expected more on the grotesqueness of cannibalism but the book was still haunting as it focused specifically on women being seen as meat and breeding centres. It was disturbing and definitely heed the trigger warnings if needed as the animal death and rape really turned my stomach.
I will definitely be checking out the authors other works as the translation was good and the sentences didn’t feel stunted.
