I hated it. It wasn't for me. It didn't feel like there was much plot/the plot wasn't going anywhere, it felt like the book was written for the sake of writing body horror and gore. I never physically got sick reading this book, which is a miracle, but I feel absolutely disgusted. I have no idea why I picked this book up, but here I am, and I regret it with my entire being.

Such a beautiful and sad book. A deep meditation on grief and loss that takes place in a horrible dystopia. There's a lot of fucked up shit that happens in the book, but it all fits into the premise and none of it, given that premise, feels unrealistic or incorrect.
The last section is fast and a little sloppy, and the lasr line feels out of place and I can't really fit it in with the book, so I stumbled s moment there and went 4.5 instead of 4.75
