I was given advance audio copy for a honest review.
I'm giving this 5 stars. If you enjoy the hating game you will enjoy this.
I really highly enjoyed this novel. Who wouldn't love a workplace romance. Cute guys and pets. And put that all in a calender. The characters were enjoyable and didnt get on your nerves. This was set in single POV and narratored by Lauren Ezzo who is one of my favorite narrators of all time. She really makes you feel and embodys the characters. The writing is great and makes you invested the author really pulls you in and makes you want more. I would recommend this

I loved both characters and the banter between the two. Grumpy/sunshine troupe with doggies! Narrator did an excellent job.

This is a good beach read/listen. It was predictable in the way the most romance books are, but I liked and was interested in what was happening beyond the romance too.

Thank you to Hachette Audio, Forever & NetGalley for the ALC in exchange for an honest review.
A fun and cute grumpy sunshine situation…with dogs! I had a good time listening to this audiobook. The characters were interesting and I loved their dynamic. The overarching premise was different and fun. The narration was good and brought life to the characters.

If you’re looking for a light, heartwarming summer read—with plenty of adorable dogs—this book fits the bill. After a humiliating fallout with her boyfriend and colleague, Holly leaves behind a high-powered law career in Seattle to pursue a fresh start. Her new goal? Win the intern competition at her quirky new office. That means roping in the grumpy and mysterious Jonathan for help, and assembling a dozen dog-loving men to model for a fundraising calendar. Simple enough—until she hits a snag in July, both on the calendar and in her heart.
The charm of this novel lies in its characters. Holly and Jonathan feel authentic, their emotional hurdles just as believable as their chemistry. Their growth—not just romantic, but personal—adds depth to what might otherwise be a fluffy story.

The problem I have with many romance books is that the conflict is often predictable and avoidable if people just communicated. This book was so fresh! The conflict was unexpected and so real. I felt like this was a totally relatable scenario.
The narrator was great! I've listened to a few books she's narrated and I'm a big fan. I always listen at at least 1.4 speed, and that was very much needed in this book.
Thank you NetGalley and Forever & Hachette Audio for the gifted book. All opinions shared in this review are my own.

I received an audio advance copy (alc) and had a lot of fun listening to Finding Mr July. I love the grumpy sunshine trope and it was a nice combo with the workplace romance trope.
The book itself had a fun premise, and there was good character growth and development. It’s nice to see older main characters finding love after heartbreak and career setbacks and struggles. I did find it a little slow in the second half, and thought there needed to be a bit more to the story perhaps.
The audiobook itself and narrator (Lauren Ezzo) was entertaining and I found her voice easy to listen to and follow the story and the different characters. I’d definitely listen to books read by her in the future!
Thanks so much Hachette Audio for the alc! All thoughts are mine.

This was fun! I really enjoyed seeing the MMC come out of his grumpiness and I loved the storyline of the FMC leaving behind law and starting from scratch as an intern. The early steam to then working together to falling in love while simultaneously finding/rediscovering their passions and tackling their fears was a good progression and felt relatable. My only qualm is they never mentioned the concern about dating in the workplace from an HR standpoint and from the obvious power imbalance with her being an intern. And I wish we learned more about the MMC's first marriage.
Regarding the audiobook, the narrators were great and the acting felt perfect for the story. The production was great as well, never felt like there was a major volume or speed change.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for this ALC and eARC!
