Unique and very original premise for a book, I think I have to read it a couple more times to fully absorb the layers in it. Entertaining, and I was never sure where it was going

This was an interesting read that was both trippy and a little tragic. Instead of being the typical read with fun and happy "magic school" vibes, Marina wrote a beautiful book from the perspective of a young woman being forced to learn a bizzare and seemingly incomprehensible magic system at the threat of her family's life. The translater did an amazing job with the editing. I'd recommend this read for anyone wanting a quick read that is vastly different than the typical fantasy book's magic system.
