DNF 20%.
Stereotypical characters with obnoxious tendencies providing a shallow foundation for a story.

I loved this story! It was clever, funny and low angst.
It was really entertaining and made me smile and laugh.
Marlee is hilarious! Her thoughts in #’s are hilarious.

She doesn’t like to rock the boat but, she does it so well. Her tirades and word vomits were epic.
The romance was equal parts sweet and hot.

Gavin is protective, kind and sexy. And he’s a family man, what’s not to love?
I really like this authors writing style. I look forward to reading more from her.

I wanted to like this, it could have been great, but the hashtags killed me.

I really enjoyed this book at the beginning but as time went on, I started to become annoyed with Marlee. I liked the secondary characters (Naomi, Donny, Brynn) but there were times where Marlee was irritating. I felt as though she came across as "perfect", which is unrealistic on so many levels. I also thought she seemed somewhat unreasonable when she fought with Gavin but that may be an unpopular opinion. I also didn't like the use of hashtags throughout the book (it reminded me of the T.V show 'The Circle'). The reason I wanted to read it was because of the football aspect to it and is one of the reasons I think I liked it so much!

This would have been a really nice read. But the women-hating-other women really turned me off. Also, Gavin was giving me the ick☹️
