Boy Proof

I never thought I'd give up on such a short book but I can't possibly read another page of this nonsense. This Victoria/Egg person needs a chill pill, a psychiatrist and some God damn sense into her mind.

Oh man, this is exactly what it was like to be an anti-social teenager.

Content warnings:
r-word used, narrator is dismissive of her mother, other women, many people initially. She's particularly dismissive of a romantic rival.

I honestly thought I would not read this book. Before getting rid of it I decided to give it a try; you know, read fifty pages so I could justify a DNF. Instead I got this oddly compelling completely readable story narrated by a prickly, frustratingly unfriendly girl realising she does actually want friends, and that friendships require work.
