Read in July 2011:
Someone described the Outlander series as a "guilty pleasure". I couldn't say it better than that. Kinda trashy, kinda sexy ... all wrapped into a very readable historical Scottish tale.

Atrapada en el tiempo es la segunda parte de la serie Outlander. El primero, Forastera, para mi fue un libro de 5 estrellas.

He tardado años en leer esta segunda parte porque tenía miedo que no me gustara tanto como la primera. Y ha sido mucho peor de lo esperado. ¡Qué decepción más grande!

No me ha gustado que el 80% del libro sea sobre política y estrategia para evitar la batalla de Culloden; no me gusta (y no entiendo) que en las primeras 70 páginas te diga como acaba un libro de 857 páginas (aunque haya alguna sorpresa final); no he encontrado la magia de la relación entre Jamie y Claire; hasta Claire me ha caído mal por momentos.

Me da mucha pena que este libro me haya decepcionado tanto. Obviamente, aquí termino con esta saga.
