This was perfectly fine. I don't understand the hype at all, the writing was okay, the art was nice but nothing special, the "plot twist" was so predictable. I don't care for Elseworlds stories that deal with real people, I find it so gauche, so maybe this was just not for me.

Very good take on what Batman would have been like if he had lived during the victorian era.

Steampunk Batman. You probably can guess if you're interested with those 2 words. Even still, it suffers from wasted potential and a lack of imagination.

This was fun! I think the idea of the first story in this run was great but the execution could have been better. It felt like a scooby doo mystery at the end and I wish they had focused more on the crimes rather than the mystery of Jack the Ripper. I wanted more se7en than Zodiac if that makes sense. The second story was solid. I wish there was a third story in this run to round things out but overall this is great and I love to see how the artist imagined Gotham would have looked over a hundred years ago!
