read this first at 15 and again at 20. Such a better read at 20 but what a difficult read
Took me a while to tune into the right frequency, and even then it was garbled. Didn't help that I read it in order. Nonetheless an important book, and the full genius of it didn't strike until I'd finished.
Again I read, and again I find myself on a steamer to interzone, tourist class im afraid.
Impossible to rate. Very interesting read. Burroughs himself is just as interesting.

This sick and twisted fever dream with its junk infected words that fly off the page and fling you from one nightmare, comedy, tragedy, gay bar after another... rules. Only taking .25 off because I know he's written better and I can't wait to devour those immediately.
