God I hated the protagonist so much. I'm so sick of the "too cool for cool teenager" trope. But I suppose that's the price I pay for reading young adult gay romances.

I absolutely devoured this book after waiting for my hold three times because I just didn’t want to read it.

Wren is such a teenager and if I had this story in high school, maybe I would’ve tried to be braver.

I thought the writing was very fresh and shockingly free of cringe, which is rare with YA. The main character was actually funny/witty without it feeling forced. I just don't always love the we have a huge secret trope and wish we had seen the characters as a couple for a bit longer, navigating the MC's asexuality a bit more.
