It's not action packed but it was an easy read. I enjoyed and recommend it, though the ending was very abrupt.

Great plot.  The POV/narration was inconsistent and distracting.
mysterious sad

A mystery in the loosest sense of the term and not a great one at that but i did enjoy reading it and enjoyed the characters, even if the singular point of view was very shoddily done. Crazy to me that there's legitimately published Agatha Christie fanfiction out there

I wanted to love this book so much. I love Agatha Christie and historical fiction and was completely unaware of her personal life and this period of her missing. The first half of the book is slow and meandering. To the point I almost stopped reading it. It did pick up during the second half and I finally became somewhat engaged. Two big plot twists - one I guessed, the other was quite unexpected. I did enjoy the later half of the book. Makes me incredibly curious as to what actually happened to Ms Christie during those 10 days!

I have mixed feelings about how this novel went, specifically Nan’s storyline and ending. As I don’t have children and don’t plan on having children, I cannot relate to her in that way. Hence, when she repeatedly chose to ignore the man she so clearly loved of one who was about as interesting as stale bread, I couldn’t get on board. It was interesting to read a historical fiction that was mainly fiction, and in this novel I loved the author giving Agatha a happy ending. I didn’t love the ending, but no one would be surprised by this.
