A fantastic book about what may or may not have happened during the mysterious eleven day disappearance of Agatha Christie in 1926. Heartbreaking tales of the Magdalen Laundries in Ireland, love and loss, war, and a whodunnit that tips it’s hat to the Dame herself… a great read.
Very enjoyable, craftily woven tale. Narration was superb.

This was a solid story, and I enjoyed the reinterpretation of Agatha Christie's life and marriage through the eyes of the woman who lured away her husband. It was quite a tough read at times, and I have to admit that I'm still in two minds about the ethical implications of essentially inventing stories about real-life figures... but then, what's the difference between this and historical fiction set in the 16th Century. Only time, I suppose. Anyway, it was well-written and kept me gripped all the way through, and I really liked the way the story came neatly together.

Mixed emotions about this book. Obviously patterned like a Christie mystery but I’m not 100% on board with how it turned out. But decent enough.
