Loved this book, until the final chapters. It had me enthralled, I was completely at the mercy of this book until we switched to Sutton. I found the paragraphs of Suttons story long-winded and boring. The fast paced notion that previously had me excited vanished. Then when Ivy came into the picture, bore! What started as a great story led down a rabbit warren of unreliable storyline. I felt Ivy's story discredited the brilliant work the writer had built up. 100% I will continue to read this author. The loathsome work of the last few chapters was not enough to move my rating down to even 4 stars as the start of the book was enough to set well beyond 5.
SO crazy. Loved it, always comes to mind when I think of a good thriller
I really REALLY struggled to finish this. The exposition and individual story arcs were a little too much for me personally. Certain plot points and characters felt very disconnected for a novel in the thriller realm. The “twists” at the end felt as if they were pulled out of thin air to me and I just couldn’t get into it, no matter what I tried.
Very good. What Gone Girl could have been without the frustrating ending.

I loved JT's book "its one of us" and think she can write and ensemble very well but this book fell flat. Too many characters with all of them acting erratically and without real motives. I listened to the end in hopes it would all come together but it truly could have been half the length. I do like the idea of the plot.
This was a twisty one! So much happening you don’t even have time to come up with your own theories! It leaves you guessing until the very last page!
Ehhh - classic thriller. I feel like I’ve read this book a million times over. Would be good for the beach. Good character development.
