The main character is assertive and takes charge, the pace is quick, some chemistry between leads. Essentially this is a mystery book, a whodunnit trying to figure out who killed the main character's twin. Some things I didn't like about it were that you could never be sure who the male lead was, so you couldn't emotionally invest in him. And the big cliffhanger was not my favorite. But at least this book ended with a bang. Overall a good book, but had some things in it that are personal pet peeves.

È un'ottima lettura se si vuole uscire dal blocco del lettore, tuttavia manca di descrizioni spazio temporali e presenta alcuni buchi di trama.
La cultura italiana è molto stereotipata, le parole italiane inserite molto casualmente all'interno del testo sono anche sgrammaticate, a volte. Sembra più un ricettario in alcuni punti che un ya fantasy.
Il sistema magico non è spiegato minimamente, e spero che tutto venga chiarito nel secondo libro

Not sure how I feel. I liked the vibes I liked the premise it had so much potential but I found the FMC a bit annoying and I felt the story drag on. It was very slow paced. I’m going to read book 2 since it has potential.
