I've read the entire Rock Chick series and the entire Dream Man series and this book is the only one that hit my soft side and made me cry. Their stories are heartbreaking
Spoiler and when Mace leaves her, I just about lost it.
So sad yet so beautiful. I loved Mace. I knew I would from the very beginning and was itching to get to his story. He's just what I needed in my fictional romantic life. Strong, Possessive, Mysterious, Tough and Sexy. I'd bear my soul to that fictional man!

3,5*. This one was different for several reasons. Not my favorite but still good.. But I expected Mace to be more, well, Mace. But OMG, his past was so sad :-( I didn´t really connect with Stella. The POV changed constantly so we could go back to all the other couples which was great. The epilogue with the children explosion was too sappy though.

Although it’s here books are always very similar, I usually really like them. This one was a bit all over the place. It tried to focus on a new couple plus all of the old ones too. For me that approach didn’t work. I loved key Stella and Mace but not all the chaos.

This is a heart breaking story, at times i found it a painful read, 'Mace's experience we have learnt a little about in previous books, i think with Jet but when we find out the detail its tear jerking.

At times i found Mace a little infuriating, he has his own breed of Alpha, we know from other books he is moody but at times i could have kicked him, esp at a particular point when he walks away. AGAIN!!

I would suggest listening to the songs that the band and Stella play while reading, the lyrics express some of the story.

I wasn't invested in these characters from the previous books in the series. But my heart went out to this couple. It broke my heart. And then I was mended.
