Sooo 80% of this book is completely and simply bang average. The last 20% however, boyyyyy.
I wish, that the energy in the last 20% goes on from the start of this book, the writing isn’t amazing however the plot takes a great turn.

I appreciate that this book was less than 300 pages. It started off good right to the point but somewhere in the middle I felt like we started jumping around all over the place. Some questions were answered as the book went on but I’m also left wondering how we got here. Not sure if I’ll pick up the next one up.
had a lot of potential bc the concept is so cool but the plot was kinda all over the place. never thought id say this but mmc was TOO aggressive for me. what happened to hello? how are you?

A lot of fantasy elements in here that I found confusing and also maybe clashed a bit too much. Like there was just too much between the dark academia and the whole coven thing with all the houses; and the end with a bunch of monsters coming out of the ground. I was like wtf is going on . for me the twist at the end was dampened because there was not enough world building.
