Alright. Halfway through the series. Stopping here for a while and will pick up again when it finishes in May.
Anyway, mixed feelings about this volume. New fans might have a problem getting into the flow. And you might want to read Trinity War for that. Otherwise, a really good and entertaining volume. Shouldn't have ended on that cliffhanger :/

Man, I was really enjoying this one--Johns always writes competently and I like Ivan Reis' art--and Despero was really cool. And then I got to the "Trinity War" shit (can I say shit on Goodreads?). Why did they reprint this edition at all? There's no coherent story in this volume at all. Oh, well. You read a New 52 book, you basically know what you're going to get...

overlaps the Trinity War book, so stopped at 60% and will finish arc in the bound Trinity War volume.
Also - OMG, WTF is wrong with the art in this book?! Issue 20 made we want to cry it was so awful.

Quick read. As I have already Trinity War, there wasn't much point to reading this. There 2 issue prior to Trinity War add a little background to the Atom, by that's about it.

Overall pretty boring and uneventful aside from the Despero issue and the last couple pages. Still worth reading to stay on track, but overall forgettable

Start of Trinity War, but too much overlap with that novel.

Touches on what seems to be an interesting mystery with a lot of groups and moving parts, but them it immediately jumps to the ending due to most of this arc crossing over into other titles. Probably best to skip this volume entirely and read the Trinity War trade instead.

Probably 3.5 stars. This is getting darker as it goes. They've got Batman's secret stash of hero killer stuff, an evil Justice League from another dimension, a 2nd Justice League of heroes created to keep the regular Justice League under control, double agents, and Pandora's box making people crazy. I was thinking I'd probably stop reading this series after this, but not I'm intrigued.
