Faux Pas is such an amazing, fun and romantic read.
After a night of drinking with her best friends, Megan is flying to Paris. There plan is to explore, drink, eat, and party in the city of love. In Megan's plans was not to fall in love. Enter Alex; tall and handsome. He comes from money but Megan doesn't care. He has his eyes set on Megan, although he tries to ignore it. Alex is supposed to be laying low. Instead he falls in love in just over a few days.

The chemistry between Alex and Megan is what every girl wants. They are crazy for each other. Alex treats her like a princess. The characters will make you laugh and that helps make the book!

This was a Spotify listen - the narrators were incredible!! Their French was amazing!! I absolutely loved that!

The first part of the book did kind of drag a bit in terms of the relationship between Megan and Alex. We did however get a lot of wonderful details about Megan and her friends exploring Paris. It was a little like taking a virtual tour.

Once Alex and Megan met, it wasn’t love but it also wasn’t hate. They were definitely intrigued by each other. They quickly discovered how much they actually enjoyed each others company. Their chemistry was evident and they quickly fell into bed with each other. The sex scenes were fantastic. So descriptive and passionate. Additionally Megan was no shrinking Violet. She has a deliciously wonderful dirty mouth and was not shy at all. We love a bold queen!! And when Alex would speak French while they were intimate - whoa boy!!

The conflict was startling but not unexpected. I do like how quickly and efficiently it was addressed and ultimately resolved. I could have done with less female bashing but given the circumstances it wasn’t completely uncalled for.

The HEA was super sweet and very fitting for this couple. This is definitely worth the listen!!

Meghan is probably the most explicit vocal heroine that Natasha has written when it comes to the bedroom and I am allllll for that. I was positively shocked and I was waving the “Go Girl” flag every time.

Meghan and Alex have a short and steamy romance while Meghan is on holiday in Paris and it becomes so much more than what they both expected it to be. Alex is the exceptionally good lucking restaurant owner who Meghan originally insults by sending back his expensive wine. No ones ever sent anything back so obviously Alex needs to see who has the issue.

Secrets start to be revealed as their love story grows and It’s soon revealed that Alex isn’t just a restaurant owner. Now, not only do they have to deal with long distance but also the problems that come along with being in the public eye.

Faux Pas was a whirlwind romance and a lot happened in such a short book. I could have done with some of the scenes being longer and more developed. I listened to this on audio and it became confusing at times when the dialogue was spoken in French then translated to English. Maybe this would have been smoother if I physically read it instead.

This was another quick read for me. It was a fun escape from reality book that had me reminiscing about my own time spent in France. It was very low angst and I loved all the characters.

Meghan and her friends take a spur of the moment trip to Paris where Meghan unknowingly meets France’s most eligible bachelor and the closest thing to a prince of France. Their first interactions are confusing, for Meghan and the reader. Alex tries to ignore Meghan, but keeps showing up everywhere she and her friends go. When he finally snaps and kisses her, they decide to have a little vacation fling. Alex and Meghan spend the next three days together, but a news story hits when she gets to the airport that leaves Meghan feeling played. Alex does what every man who falls hard in 3 days does, and races to Meghan to explain himself and his feelings, and hopes to make their fling a real relationship.

As Meghan and Alex worked out their long distance relationship they had a lot of hurdles to get over. Their story closely resembled Harry and Meghan’s early relationship and I thought that was ironic. I loved Alex’s sister and Meghan’s friends. I thought they added some depth to the story. I loved the way Natasha Madison added French into the story while also giving the English translation, it made the story more authentic while still allowing English speakers to follow along.

Overall this was a good book. It provided a good escape and a beautiful happily ever after. It also seems to be a bit of a prequel to the Hollywood Royalty series with a glimpse at Tyler and Jessica.

Faux Pas was an enjoyable and engaging story and with Paris as the main setting, it was very romantic. Not to mention angst free and the characters were very likable, particularly Alex, who was charming, sexy, french and very alluring, and I enjoyed the romance that developed between him and Meghan. Even with the little hiccups that appeared along the way.

However, I was a little put off with all the french writing if I'm honest. As I found it somewhat distracting and after a point I started to skim those parts and head straight for the English translations. Which then broke up the flow of the story and stopped me from becoming truly hooked in. But it was still a lovely and easy romance and I would happily recommend it to others.

If I ever had a fling anywhere I'd want it to be in Paris with a sexy AF billionaire. I was captivated with this book from the airplane ride to the walks around Paris. I felt like I was right there walking with girls exploring Paris. The humor between the girls reminded me of my squad. We need a girls trip to Paris Squad, get ready Girls! Natasha had me wanting to "try" wine just kidding I hate alcohol..LOL! I'm looking forward to next book in series. J'ai adoré<--I GTS! ;-)

The one thing from Natasha Madison that you can expect, is a unique and fun story and Faux Pas delivers just that. From a chance encounter to an unexplainable draw, this book takes you on a wild ride. Alex is one swoon worthy man that makes you want to keep him to yourself. Then you have Meghan who is such a sweet person but also sassy and gives as good as she gets. The banter between these two sizzles just like the chemistry they have!
Overall, this was a fun and quirky read that keeps you on your toes. There is so much that makes you giggle and makes you swoon! I loved seeing the French added in there as I grew up in Canada as well! She made the parts with it flow seamlessly and I enjoyed every moment!
