This was a page turner for me. While I sorta guessed the outcome it was a fun ride to get there. I really enjoyed that the story was told from two people’s vantage points and there would be overlap on the narrative so you could see what the other person was thinking during key parts of the story. There is a lot of conning that goes on in this book but I think the most interesting aspect of the story is how the characters end up conning themselves even. Fun read!

Wow. Just wow. What a great book full of twists and turns. This book centers around three people - Nina, Vanessa and Lachlan. The book is full of lies and deception and is beautifully written. The book leaves you wanting more to the point of not being able to put it down because you have to read one more page to find out what happens next. It was great seeing the world from Nina’s and Vanessa’s views and I love both characters and how it ultimately ended. Definitely a 5 star from me.
This is one of the most captivating stories I've read in a long time. The characters are well thought out and developed and the story line is strong. The relationships and emotions are believable, the story line is that perfect balance of believable and yet not predictable.
It wasn’t horrible but unnecessarily long, slow, and at some points downright boring. Very interesting premise and story that could have been told in a shorter amount of time. Every character is flawed and I only walked away liking Ben. The rest were all the same, narcissistic, whiny, and annoying. Nonetheless I finished the book because I sped up the narrator on audible and didn’t want this to be my first book I quit. I would recommend although I would say there are definitely parts you can skip and still get the story.

A decent read with good characters & plot twists. Told from 2 different characters views I found the story to unfold well. Both characters stories overlapping throughout the book giving the reader multiple perspective.
I found the end (epilogue) lacking and would have enjoyed something a bit more to round out the story.

I REALLY liked this story! Two woman, two POV, twists, mystery and a solid storyline. This would make a great movie. I was totally satisfied beginning to end!
MEH. Narrators we’re great. Book was blah. Didn’t care about the plot or the characters much.
Great thriller about a grifter that doesn’t turn out like you think.
