I could not put this book down. The twists are smart and I loved the way the author used the two voice format to flesh out the characters and drive the mystery. I loved that we got to see the same scenes from both Nina and Vanessa’s prospectives. It really shows how our interpretations of other people are colored by our own biases and that you can never really know what is going on in someone’s head. I think this book does a great job of using mystery tropes to their full advantage.

I really enjoyed the twists and turns of this story. It wasn't completely unpredictable, but fun nonetheless.

Probably around a 4.3, but giving it a 5 as I like the way Brown writes, even with different view points kept me interested throughout.

I feel as if the ending could have been prolonged a bit longer with information, there was so much leading up to it, and it was so interesting, but then the events surrounding the ending seemed so short

Overall, good read, I enjoyed the story and plot twists!

Listened to it on Audible. I really liked the storyline and the concept, however it dragged and seemed long. I also didn’t like any of the characters; all of them were hard to relate to. The ending is where it finally picked up and I liked how it wrapped up in the end.
adventurous dark mysterious slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Complicated
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

4.5 stars... I really enjoyed this book for some reason. It was a typical "who did what and why" book, but more modern with social media, etc. being a part of it.

Eh. A little over the top but if you are looking for a beach read with some good twists, this is easy reading.

Absolutely compelling and well written book. I highly recommend. It was such an easy read, and I found it difficult to put it down. Not a "deep book" really, but not just fluff either. It hooked me good and did not disappoint.
