I really enjoyed the first half of this book. I always like books that feature some kind of competition and I liked seeing the strategies used by the different zeros. I liked what we got to know of Kaitlyn Day in the beginning as well. She seemed resourceful and purposeful. It was gratifying to see her outsmart Cy and Fusion. Things got a bit bogged down around the big reveal and I felt like Cy’s turn as a character was a little too cartoon villain ish. And then the ending was a bit too ambiguous for me as well. I get that it’s supposed to be, and I’m fine with some ambiguity, but this was a step too far for me. Overall, I still really enjoyed this read, but had some plot issues near the end.

Enjoyed not my usual fair but liked action was decent main character was okay not annoying or overly unrealistic, had a fine time reading it, it was a little long in parts but overall seemed to be a fast read
