This was a gripping mystery with many twists and turns and an incomplete resolution that was very real to life. Darren is a deeply flawed character, which makes this series not always comfortable, but still one I'll keep reading.

3.5 Stars. This was a solid read, but I did not enjoy it as much as the first of the series.

The audiobook narrator was perfectly fine, but perhaps I just appreciate this series more in book form.
