This is the 2nd book in the series. Mike played a bigger part in this story, Deanna’s hacker, I really like him. I hope he hangs around in book 3. I liked this one as much or even a little more than book one.

This took me longer to read than normal (perhaps because I read two other books while I was reading this one). I fell a little more in love with Jeremy in this book - he's the perfect blend of alpha and considerate boyfriend. Deanna's faceted personality was explored even more too, which fascinated and enthralled me. I loved having a protagonist who wasn't a plain Jane or a good girl. The thrill of unpredictability and spontaneity around her character kept me on the edge of my seat. Marcus was a good villain also - believable enough to be terrifying.

Book 2 of the girl in 6e. This book was also so good. I think I might’ve enjoyed this one more than the 1st. It is definitely spicy thriller. This had a few more light hearted moments. I loved where a.r. Torre took the MC’s relationship. Can’t wait to finish up book 3 now.

3.5 stars

Deanna is not a good character and I mean shes not even well written for being an "anti-hero" type of character. Also finding out Jeremy is in his early 30s was extremely unsettling to me as Deanna is only 22....like literally still a child in comparison. Especially when she has had no love life and life outside of being in the apartment. Its too weird that Jeremy is just willing to accept her without knowing any details. I can't believe a sane man would do that so why would I believe a fictional sane man does? At least Mike knows what shes capable of and loves her. Mike is best guy. I was sorta hoping
Spoiler jeremy would die just because he is so fucking lame

Anyways...the writing style is enough to keep you reading. Its engaging and entertaining but aside from being a fun book there isn't anything "WOW" about this series.

The 2nd book in this series, and I think I like it better than the first. There was most definitely a lot more thrill/suspense in this one, and Deanna/Jessica is definitely the psychopath she mentions a lot. But honestly. I kind of dig her. She is tough, takes 0 sh*t and will go to the ends of the earth for the few people she cares about in the world.

We meet a new character, Marcus, who just got out of prison and is on house arrest. And he is DARK. He stumbles upon Jessica's cam site, and it goes from there.

Definitely one I didn't want to stop listening to. I'm torn on whether or not to read book 3 after looking at the synopsis.

A strong 4 stars from me.

Trigger warning: rape (mentioned), blood, violence, murder, graphic scenes.

Few months after the events with Ralph and Annie, Deanna slowly regains her daily routines back. With a sweet, loving, respecting new boyfriend, a hacker bestfriend, loyal clients, and a handsome sum of money, there's nothing to worry about. But life as a woman, even more as a camgirl never let someone to be in peace for too long, because someone out there is determined to find her and snag every control she has over the people she loves, her life... and also her body.

... Actually I am in loss of words because of this one. I'm glad that my impulsive decision urged me to collect all the series before I even finish the first book. I quite liked it, even though it didn't meet my expectations of a thriller book. So I was projecting the sequel to be a fun read instead, but HOLY HELL, it kept me on the edge of my seat (bed, in this case) throughout my time reading.

I was expecting this one would be about Deanna against another sick pedophile, but no. It was against someone who was totally chasing her ass, someone who was as twisted (well, a bit more twisted) than she is, so when they finally met, it was like a match made in the deepest pit of hell.
SpoilerMan couldn't even get his ass back up after an encounter with my girl.

Chills. Literal chills.

Also, the chemistry between her and Mike and Jeremy. The hacker bestfriend and the respecting boyfriend. Each man has different purposes in her life, but both of them powerful enough to propel her to explode. It truly helps on giving Deanna's character more humanity, and more conflict between her and her twisted side.

Will be diving straight to book #3.
