Do Not Disturb by A. R. Torre was more suspenseful than the first, but I think that had to do with the lens this story was set up through given Deanna’s tendencies and the insanity of some individuals. These books are good, but they are certainly not for certain people, so I HIGHLY recommend reading the content warnings, especially if you’re like me and typically go into a book blind. I am not easily triggered or turned of by books due to content reasons, but this series has been graphic in more ways than one, so it’s just a friendly note for my reading friends who do find themselves to be more sensitive, especially to certain topics surround misogyny, sexism, and sex work. I think that these books have a fun concept, that helps shine light in a variety of different issues, but they do not hold back, which can certainly be overwhelming for some readers. I really like the plot and characters in this book, as well as the one before it, so if you can stomach the gritty bits, this is a suspense worth checking out (after you’ve read the first in the series, of course).

There was a better build up than the first book but it was altogether a very very similar premise.

I usually read a lot of thrillers, but this was a bit too much for me. I just skipped through the book to see how the ending is but I was so glad when I finished the book. The book itself was good, the writing, the characters, the plot - just a little too much for me. Make sure you read the trigger warnings.

I was on the edge of my seat throughout this one. Short review cause I need to hurry and get to book three!
Loved every minute of this book. Hope to have more character development of Jeremy and Mike in the third book.
