Oooh, I am loving this series!

***Spoilers for The Girl in 6E***

Do Not Disturb follows our lovely psychotic cam-girl Deanna who, after the events of the last book, is attempting to live a sort of normal life by starting a relationship with Jeremy. Of course, she is still convinced she needs to be locked away at night, and she's still doing cam-girl work (no judgements here, a girl's got to make some money), but she's now opening up to the idea of being around normal people and dating Jeremy. However, one of her new clients (recently released from prison for brutally raping a young woman) gets a little too attached to Deanna, and decides if she won't accept his offers to pay for real sex, he'll just have to track her down and take it himself. Honestly, this guy is a complete and utter piece of shit, excuse my language.

I love love loved this book. It just had me on edge from the get-go, and I just devoured this book. It was great to see that Deanna was opening up more to a relationship with Jeremy, and how they were taking their time, even though you could cut the sexual tension between them with a knife (I was praying that they would eventually just bone haha).

The whole plot with Marcus was crazy. Like here we have a man who clearly doesn't think women are little more than a piece of ass for him to abuse and defile in any way he sees fit, so I was looking forward from the start for him to get his comeuppance. He was a total piece of shit. Good riddance to him!

Already started the next book because I need more of Deanna and Jeremy in my life!

i mean, i really honestly enjoyed this book, but it was more of just a fluffy light read for me. :)

This was insane. So much better than the first one.

First, we have much less sex and way more plot, suspense, and thrill. The new antagonist was terrifying and a true villain. Torre really does know how to write fucked-up characters with zero redemption. We end up yearning for their gruesome deaths and cheering on Deanna as she loses herself in her thirst for blood.

Second, Deanna was far more interesting. She didn't just talk about how much she wanted to kill. She showed us.

Third, we got to learn so much more about the secondary characters. They were interesting, intriguing, and full of depth.

I wanted to stop halfway through this book because I dont want to get disappointed with what might happen after the conflict was revealed. I liked know the words were easy to read that it made me finish the book in less that 2 days. Also love the main characters. I generally like thriller, and this book with its own romance really hooked me. No cliffhangers also, unlike how I felt after the first book that I want to see how love unfolds between Deanna and Jeremy.

This is such a fun series. Yes, there are parts of the storyline that are a little far-fetched but this is such an entertaining series it doesn't really matter. Deanna Madden is such a cool character, she's sick and demented but still manages to be likeable. I've been listening to the series on Audio and will definitely be listening to the third installment next. This second book was just as good as the first. A fun and entertaining series with a dark twist!

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first one. I don't know if I will be continuing the series.

Amazing, yet again, however I do have my criticisms (don’t I always?). The primary hang up for me was the pure lack of time spent on her attacker’s kill. With how much she ~loves~ murder and has the chance to do whatever she wants, it’s over so quickly. I guess I mainly blame this on Torre’s lack of her own malice. I guess I just felt like it was built up to be this epic slasher murder scene but all I got was a budget spin-off kill.
