I have been reading nonstop since 9 its 2am and I finally finished
wow what an experience
I thought the first book was a mindfuck, that it took to to depths I haven't yet explored
oh I was wrong that was barely the beginning of this twisted beautiful nightmare
I applaud you Alessandra Torre because you literally left me speechless
there is nothing I can say after finishing
i am not of much help
just take my lack of words and use it as incentive to read this fucking series.
This one was more slow paced than the first one but still managed to hold my attention just as much. This is a story that explores the human psyche, its fragility and its needs, a subjets that I have always found fascinating. Just as I've come to expect from this author this was a suspense filled experience that had me hooked until the end.
I guess my opinion on this book doesn't wonder too far from that of the first one, hence the rating. It didn't dissapoint in the sense that this book had all the same aspects that I liked about book one, wich were mostly the intrigue and the mistery, but sadly it also mantained the parts I didn't like that much, particularly the romance. I'm gonna elaborate a little on that matter because I don't think I did on my first review and it's important. Basically I don't think the relationship between the main character and the UPS delivery guy adds anything of importance to the story and I find it extreamly boring. It just feels forced and the love interest is one of the dullest characters I have encountered, specially when you pair him with a girl like Deanna who is such a badass. I do believe a romance was needed for our character to want more from life than total isolation but I just don't think Jeremy was the right guy for the task.
