Love it!

Great characters, great narration, I love all the details and I actually looked forward to driving in my car so I could hear more.

I'm at the same time both disappointed and pleased that I put this series off for so long. Disappointed because I didn't realize what I was missing, but pleased because I have it to listen to right now.

I thought I was rereading this, but I was obviously confusing it with another of Anne Rice's books that I read 20 years ago. 
Lestat is unforgettable, and this book is just PACKED. So much variety in terms of lore, and locations. 
It takes what you know about him from the first book, and makes you reassess everything. 
He's mesmerizing
